Over the years this historic Ann Arbor home had been subdivided into apartments. During this period the staircase was disassembled and walled off. As part of a multi-phase renovation process, Westside Builders restored the central living space to a single-family residence, uncovered the stairwell and restored the staircase to its original beauty.

As a result of missing parts, Westside Builders fabricated new upper stair rail pieces to maintain the continuity of the staircase.
